Gossamer Wings – A Retrospective Walk At the Judy Istock Butterfly Haven

April 1, 2020 by Ken Ilio Leave a Comment

One of the best ways to get a respite from your busy life is to sit down in a corner of the Judy Istock Butterfly Haven at Chicago’s Nature Museum and watch these beautiful insects flutter by. It is so relaxing and mesmerizing. Some will even attempt to land on you.

The Judy Istock Butterfly Haven is located inside the Peggy Notebart Nature Museum in Lincoln Park.

They are closed right now (March 2020) because of COVID-19 but they will be opening soon. Check out their website and plan your visit! Meanwhile, have a little stroll through these pictures taken a few years ago.
