I was off on Tuesday, May 8 because of the primary elections that went on in Indiana. Because I am used to getting up early on week days, I was able to go out to Thorndale Beach to watch the sun rise.
There were already people there doing the same thing.
I can’t get enough of sunrise shots.
I wake up very early in the morning (at about 4 am or even before that) to prepare for and drive to work in another state, about an hour’s drive away.
So no matter how I wish I to spend more time in bed on weekends, I am already awake by early morning.
What to do? Last April 1 early morning, I looked out the window – and lo and behold – the weather was actually nice. The sun just started to peek out of the horizon. I just had to run to the beach to take some photographs. I know that I was already late but, the colors were still incredibly beautiful.
… even if it was snowing heavily.
First significant snow fall this season … just got to do that walk. It wasn’t that bad or cold. It was in fact, beautiful.
Having cabin fever cooped up in the apartment.
So instead of working, I took a walk on the beach, despite the wind and the cold but the sun was shining though. It was a nice brisk walk from Thorndale to just about Foster Ave. Beach and back with plenty of photo stops. Took me about an hour. Surprisingly, lots of people were up and about, probably they felt the same way as I did.
