Venetian nights with the Chicago Flickr Meetup Club.
Venetian Night is the longest running event that the City of Chicago produces. Approximately 30 boats decorated under the theme "Rockin’ All Over the World" sailed along Lake Michigan, between the Shedd Aquarium at Roosevelt Road and the Chicago Yacht Club at Monroe Street. People staked out spots along the lakefront since early morning to ensure a good view of the boat parade. Over 600,000 people were expected to watch the event.
